well you know, they pressed it over 2 discs to improve overall sound quality. then they use glow in the dark color shit and degrade the sound back down again. it's all very simple really.

I gotta say, this is my favorite output from them so far. even more than ausserwelt. well worth the price tag. listening to this album today, I was pretty tired and was drifting in and out of sleep. during those seconds of unconsciousness, my dream-state was that of a funeral procession for some giant being. like living in a 70s zdzisław beksiński painting. was just awesome.

^ I feel similarly. but maybe this release was cutting it a little close to be included in the 'donation member' buble. maybe dan will make something happen for those donators that preorder before the actual release, he's got quite a few months to come up with an idea and get his ducks in a row.

^ it's sort of the first new material since 2008 with the exception of the 'time of land' ep. there was also a collection of demos released under the title 'voids' which has other pre-DC material. both are very enjoyable. I heard a while ago that some of the material from 'voids' has been reworked and will appear on the new album. but that remains to be heard.

markok, just spun 'les voyages', didn't notice a particular degradation in quality on the inner grooves. the sides are quite long though, so the overall quality of the disc isn't as good as it could be. but still sounds pretty decent to my ears. going to listen to 'de lune' next. you got me on a roll. damn, what a great band. stoked for the new one.
