^ I'll agree with markok on the complexity front. as usual, there are many interesting timing signatures throughout, but the chord progressions on many of the verse riffs are taken in directions I would never think they were going, and are pure genius. all of this stuff was methodically written but an extremely competent musician, which of course paul certainly is.

I'd say this is my favorite helms release ever. want my slime green dammit!

6339 Shuttle Launch Pad & 6614 Launch Evac 1 in the corner. got em for christmas in '95. still have em set up. i have a a whole bunch of this older stuff, i'll post more later. also like the star wars sets from a few years ago, but the ones with mini-figs, not the bigger detailed ones. lego fucking rules.

I have a couple guesses: left row: - under the sealed shirts, looks like the grey pelican - city of echoes spaceship crash. -3rd from the bottom is the red version mylene sheath logo. center row: - above the obvious brown russian circles, the russian circles horse shirt from shirt killer. - below the obvious brown russian circles is the jakob shirt released last year by the band. right row: - half way down, the black version of enemies list "no fun, not ever".

yes, the recording does sound very good. however, the content is lacking for me. feels pretty sucked out. though, I had expected the band was headed in this sound-direction to gain a bit more appeal. no neige screams, no double kick/blasts, and a song in english. 3 really big strikes.
