the problem is, I didn't bother buying any of their newer releases because I wouldn't pay the crazy price of the original focus. now if I get focus, I'm going to have to get all the others. damn, it's all or nothing. and it'll be too much dough in the end I think.

i got my repress of 'you'd prefer an astronaut' yesterday, but more importantly, taped to the bubble wrap inside the mailer was a pack of official terminator 2 movie trading cards from 1991. did anyone else get these!?!

I have an original and got my gf the boot for xmas (I'm not made if money!). the jackets are alright, the originals aren't amazing either. wouldn't say the quality differs a ton between them honestly. as for sound, I found a bit of a drop in higher harmonic frequencies from the original, but nothing too bad. still sounds fine. it's a good buy for the price.

the 'in these black days' box was by far best thing available. did they just go up last night as well?

i got the blue sky reverb a couple years ago and a timline last summer. the blue sky is the best reverb pedal i've ever used. only thing that'll beat it is the eventide space, and that's a lot more cheese. the timeline is pretty comparable to the eventide timefactor. similar features/interface etc. only complaint about the timeline are the type of push-pots they used for the function knobs. pretty flimsy. either way, the sound is what matters, and it's amazing. if i didn't sell my DL4 years ago, i'd have just thrown it in the garbage after hearing the timeline. the el capistan setting on the timeline is very enjoyable. recommend them highly.

i've been looking for a copy of jakob's erfo for nearly 4 years. i assure you, nobody will give theirs up. throughout my search, i've gotten into contact with: the band, the crawlspace label/store owner, said label owner's brother, and all 6 or 7 people who have it on discogs, and i've come up with nothing. will always be my most wanted record. it's a fucking heartbreaker.

hi folks, i've been an exclusive member of deadformat for many years, but have recently converted here. DF has no relevant news on upcoming releases i'm interested in, no moderation, tons of spam and a snobby attitude from many of its core posters. if my list wasn't there, i'd have no reason to check it at all. this board, on the other hand, has been excellent so far. found out about some great releases, up to date news and pictures of releases i have ordered, and a pretty friendly clientele. as an offering of my gratitude, here's some pics of a few random collections. forgive the grainy look, it got darker outside faster than i thought. failure: thrice: cursed:
