  1. I just sold a high priced record the other. I wrapped that guy in bubble and put him in a mailer. Then a got a bigger box and put an empty taped mailer in the bottom, placed mailer with said record in on top all taped up, and then placed another taped empty mailer on top. Then taped the hell out of the big box. This thing was essentially a mailer sandwich and had zero shifting or noise. Not taking any chances and added insurance. That record was the world to me and I want to insure (no pun intended) that it gets to it's new home in the condition I kept it in. I don't understand why other people don't do the same. I guess some people sell records for money without a real love for it, and some do. All you can do it hope, or send them a message before they ship your item.
  2. I got mine in and it sounds good. Everything is ok here. No complaints.
  3. That's a sweet freaking deal. I traded in Bioshock Infinite and got a whopping $5. I was heart broken. And I had DIII for ps3, and got tired of the endless grinding of Act I-IV, but I'm playing it on ps4 and loving it all over again. The new class is choice, love that tanking life. I'm stoked to get to 70, the new act, adventure mode, and the demonicly hard difficulty of when you blink you die. Let the grinding begin, I'm already at lvl 19. Hahahaha. PSN: mattphotographs - let's do it to it.
  4. Ass To Mouth copies. Also, I have a short list of tour copies I'm (possibly - amount depends on some variables) picking up for people: stl_ben micah511 jason drummerboy032 tetsuodaironman Depending on the number of copies I can get, and how many people request one, I'll probably end up doing some sort of lottery system. If anyone else wants to get on the list just let me know. I doubt I'll be able to grab 10 copies without people busting out the pitchforks, but I'll definitely do my best and we can go from there. I know I'll at least get 1 spare. If they allow 2 copies per person, I'll be getting 3.
  5. I was going to go to the SLC show, but they didn't announce it until I already bought Denver passes. Haha. And from the few times I've seen them there hasn't been a pit. You just need to watch out for the occasional crowd surfer. I'm sure bringing a backpack to put the record in will be fine.
  6. I have gold passes for Denver. I'll pick up a record for a few people if interested. Just throwing that out there.
  7. BUT I'M OWED THIS ALBUM AT A BETTER PRICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (And you're right, everyone is so damn entitled. Starting to look like a Brand New thread around here.) But really, $40 isn't bad. It's not $26.99, but it's not $200 either. $40 in the grand scheme of things is nothing though. I'll gladly pay that for one of my favorite albums, especially one I though I'd never own. I would still pay $60, and I'll even buy another variant later (peach) if that happens.
  8. Hahahahahah this thread. I can't stop laughing. And my girlfriend bought us gold passes for Denver and just bought me the Fan Direct. I have a keeper.
  9. Bought the Fan Direct one anyway. I'm hoping they have a cool tour package like a tour variant and an awesome screen print. Maybe a 3xLP? Fingers crossed.
  10. Mine is Denver which is the 7th stop and I have early entry. So I'm sure, if there is a tour variant, I'll be able to grab one. Deciding if I should grab the fan direct variant as well. Hmmmmm.
  11. Damn, he was so young. Only 53 years old. Such a legend and one of the main reasons I got into skating.
  12. I love listening to my collection of 500 records ... on my Crosley, especially my $250 copy of (insert clichely over-priced record here).
