OUT NOW ON HELLS HEADBANGERS. Pressed on blood smeared COLORED VINYL. First 111 numbered copies pressed on PICTURE DISC housed in a custom blood-splattered outer meat cleaver jacket (yes, the cleaver is real & yes, the blood is sorta real)! Both versions come in a Gatefold jacket with a poster of the killer cover artwork.

Considered by many to be one of the most cult releases in the storied Relapse catalog, EMBALMER's classic There Was Blood Everywhere is finding a well-earned 12" vinyl release courtesy of longtime fans HELLS HEADBANGERS. Originally released on 7" in 1995, There Was Blood Everywhere came at a juncture where death metal's fascination with gore reached its nadir and the music consequently became staid and slovenly. EMBALMER appeared unconcerned, upping the gory lyrical content to OTT levels and the churning, coagulating grind in kind. The kind of death metal found on There Was Blood Everywhere was (and still is) sick, blown-out, bowel-exploding grind played with hysteric, wide-eyed fervor, its depths of depravity black enough to appeal to fans of Conqueror as they do Carcass. As a bonus, 1993's Rotting Remains demo is added to this special vinyl pressing, thereby making it the definitive EMBALMER statement.

Man, I really wished I liked the music because that packaging is sick. When I was listening to the sample the vocals actually made me laugh a little. Is it supposed to be a parody? Not trying to offend any fans here. There is a lot of stuff I like that could be questioned.

I don't think the vocals are a parody, but with death, gore, etc most of that stuff sounds the same to me and I don't pay much mind. It's all in the riffs on this one dude.

If I'm not mistaken there are around 300 standard.

The only thing I'm worried about: I hope they don't just slap a label on that awesome bloody mailer and ship it that way. I hope it's inside another box to keep the splattered one in good shape.

Also might scare the USPS man just a bit
