GreatGreenOne77
Ok, Creep was....fucking amazing!!! Terror genre is definitely on it's own level vs. standard slasher or gore style horror flicks. I like movies that make me uptight, and this one had me tense the entire time wondering what the hell that crazy fuck was going to do next and how dumb that guy was with trusting him... Pleased with it for sure and will be watching it again!
Rip
I love Creep. Can't wait to see what else they come up with in the other 2 films.
hippielauryn
I enjoyed Creep a lot too. It was late so I fell asleep during the most important part of the movie, but I went back this morning and rewatched the last 5 minutes. It was interesting seeing Mark Duplass in that type of role since I'm a fan of The League. Good stuff.
+hecollec+or
Creep was pretty good. Think I need to watch it again. Was def a different style of found footage/stalker horror, & it worked. Omg, me & Bladie agree on something.

danionly
I'm also a day behind. Just watched Martyrs yesterday and I think I'm all 'torture-horror'-d out. I watched Killer Legends recently already so tonight will be Creep for me.
hippielauryn
I hope you guys enjoy Killer Legends. I figured it would be something different to give everyone a break from the horror movies, while still being relevant to the theme.

+hecollec+or
Since there's no pick for Halloween.... you all need to watch Halloween I-III between 12:01am & 11:59pm on Saturday the 31st. danionly

If you have a fascination with serial killers or real life unsolved murders then you're gonna dig this.
tonyregret
I haven't had the chance to post but I have been watching. The past few days I've watched Waxwork and Waxwork 2, We Are Still Here, All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, and Bordello of Blood.

Shitty Rambo
Didn't really care for Mandy Lane. Felt like vanilla teen slasher from the 90's but not in a charming way.
tonyregret
Didn't really care for Mandy Lane. Felt like vanilla teen slasher from the 90's but not in a charming way. I disagree. I thought that the characters were pretty well developed compared to the junk from the late 90's and early 2000's. I thought it was well directed and had some cool shots, particularly when they arrived at the farm. It felt like an artsy-indie flick for the first half of the movie, and then goes to more traditional slasher.
+hecollec+or
And the music/score in the film works perfectly.
Rip
Backing the Mandy Lane love in here. I really enjoyed that movie. I remember being so excited when it finally got distribution to the US. Only took, what? 4-6 years or something like that?

It has a cool style I can't put my finger on. Ha, yup. Bought an import boot a few years ago. Thankful it has a legit release now.
Rip
Yeah I bought it the day it came out on DVD. And I know what you mean by it having a certain style. It kind of reminded me of a better looking Scream movie.
Shitty Rambo
Maybe it's just me. I dislike a lot of horror movies that get praise (I.E. The Babadook).

I was not Invested in the female lead, and her son just annoyed me to no end. I did not understand the hype for it at all. It Follows though...that was a banger. I enjoyed It Follows, the soundtrack was great, I just didn't find it very unnerving. I think because the lead girl was in constant danger the more action packed scenes didn't feel as tense as they were intended to.
hippielauryn
The only Mandy Lane I can find is the All Boys Love Mandy Lane with Amber Heard as the lead. Is that the right one?
