I know it came out in 2010 so I'm assuming that the code expired? Can this happen? It's the first time I've ever had a code expire on a sealed album. sacredheart Posted October 13, 2014 Share Posted October 13, 2014 Yes they can. Early on when DL codes first started popping up in albums many would expire after a year. Some still do this while others seem to have a longer expiration. It all depends on the label/site that hosts that download. I remember when Babel by Mumford and Sons came out, the label switched who they used for download codes right after it, so if you went to the site on the card you couldnt get anything. The code will expire 24 hours after it has been opened. It will likely be printed with ink that dissolves a day after it first hits oxygen.
