downisthenewup87 Posted December 2, 2014 Share Posted December 2, 2014 I am a HUGE Doomtree fan... they rank right behind Radiohead, The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Modest Mouse when it comes to my favorite musicians of all time. That said, there is no way I can justify that 50 bucks for a bunch of shit I don't really want + the colored vinyl (which looks sweet). The autographs are cool and all, but I have all their signitures on the Doomtree CD anyways... Guess I'l be waiting for the actual release or at least a leak to confirm quality (considering Grey Duck does very little for me) or maybe even wait til their show in LA and hope there's a colored laying around. My initial impression is that it has some really good songs, but might not be as strong as No Kings overall, which I think is very solid from beginning to end. But, I still need to give it time. I finally gave in and got the deluxe LP bundle. A few unnecessary peices, but the shirt and LP are pretty high quality, so I don't regret it.
