Regardless of format, your account will be updated on SEPTEMBER 30 to allow for a MP3 download of the album. Seventeen years ago, The Faint ushered in the return of synthesizers to the modern musical landscape with the release of 1999’s Blank-Wave Arcade. The world took note and the dance-rock movement of the early 00’s followed in its wake. In the ensuing years, the band’s consistent evolution cemented their status as one of the most forward thinking and influential forces in dance-rock. CAPSULE:1999-2016, surveys The Faint’s most renowned output over that timespan, while also taking a look at what the future holds for the acclaimed Omaha electro-punks. Seventeen tracks from the era are included in this retrospective, with contributions from Blank-Wave Arcade, Danse Macabre, Wet From Birth, Fasciinatiion, Doom Abuse, and 2016’s “Young & Realistic” single; as well as two brand new songs, “Skylab1979” and “ESP.”* * New tracks are included on CD/Digital and pressed as a bonus 7” with the LP. http://saddle-creek.com/store/
jacobe
I was hoping this was a box set of all their material, maybe that will happen at some point after the Bright Eyes box releases. Shocked there's nothing from 'Media' on here - although different from where they went, there's some very strong material on that LP. paynegretzky and Adam10647

AsleepOnRocks
New song is really good, and the track listing for this is beyond great. I'm not usually a fan of "best of" records, but I might have to snag a copy of this one... I was hoping it was a box set too, though. brillwill
Canuckle
Was also hoping for a boxset. Not sure The Faint's catalog really screams 'Best Of' album... kjkenney

I agree. Was hoping to see something Media related when I clicked this post. I'm assuming it was never pressed but would love to see it one day
brillwill
getting it. it's on 2xLP silver vinyl plus a bonus 7" for 27 bucks with the option for media shipping. if you rocked out to these guys at all (and especially if you haven't) you should be picking this up.
