After a lot of consideration and a considerable amount of work, we merged the Suburban Home and Vinyl Collective stores into one store. What does that mean? Well, after getting numerous requests to combine CD and vinyl orders and managing the inventories of 2 stores, we thought our lives would be that much easier if we just combined the 2 stores.

We are not planning on adding any inventory to the CD part of our store. If you take a look at our CDs, you will notice that much of our remaining stock are available for only $5.00. This is a great time to stock up on some really great CDs. We will continue to put out some of our releases on CD and those titles will be added to the store.

Let us know what you think and to celebrate the merging of the stores, take advantage of the following sales:

1. Check out our list of CDs (http://stores.channeladvisor.com/vinylhome/CDs)as many of the releases we have are only $5.00 (and most of those we only have 1's or 2's. Great leftovers from our Dead Format CD store.

2. For a short time, we are offering our "I Celebrate Their Entire Catalog" Suburban Home T-shirts (http://stores.channeladvisor.com/vinylhome/Items/shicts) for only $5.00. Get them while you can.

3. We made a handful of CD lots (http://stores.channeladvisor.com/vinylhome/Items/50for50) that contain 50 CDs, 10 posters, and a number of bottons. All this for only $25.00.

4. Our I Celebrate Their Entire Catalog CD sale (http://stores.channeladvisor.com/vinylhome/Items/ictecsale) is available for a short time for only $80. This gets you every available Suburban Home release (around 40 CDs) and also gets you our next 10 CD releases over the course of next year.

5. We also offer 5 for $25 (http://stores.channeladvisor.com/vinylhome/Items/sh_pick5sale) and a 10 for $50 sales (http://stores.channeladvisor.com/vinylhome/Items/sh_pick10sale) where you can pick 5 or 10 CDs and/or Pint Glasses. Included in this deal are the new LaGrecia CD and pint glass.

Do not worry that we plan to overrun our store with CDs, we are just making our lives a little bit easier and hope to offer more great music in a more convenient manner. Our next item to tackle will be merging the Second Nature Store and the Vinyl Collective Store! Wish us luck!

are you going to have everything listed together? or are you going to keep the vinyl/cd listing seperate? one thing i've always liked is that you spotlight the new vinyl releases on the home page.

if you mean on the blog, my intention is to only post new vinyl on the Vinyl Collective blog (unless it is a Suburban Home release that is on vinyl and CD). And for the most part the only new cds will be suburban home releases posted on the suburban home blog.
