monk0nuggets
Check out the Dangermouse mashup of Jay Z's "Black Album" and the Beatles "White Album" called "Grey Album". It's mad good.
jhulud
The Misfits - anything and all w/ Glenn Danzig Fear Before The March Of Flames - Art Damage & The Always Open Mouth Blacklisted - Heavier Than Heaven, Lonelier Than God
daughtersfan18
FBTMOF "Odd How People Shake" for the screamo/metalcore "Art Damage" same as Odd but more heavier. Personal favorite of mine "The Always Open Mouth" for the more experimental works. Terror "One With The Underdog" and "Lowest of the Low" for some good hardcore The Misfits "Collection 1 & 2" are great places to start since they have Glen in them

martyk36
I grew up on hip hop in the 90's....so, as far as Jay-Z goes, I'd reccomend reasonable doubt (his first album) as well as in my lifetime vol. 1. For some reason I'm not really into any of his other records, not sure why. If you dig those I'd also reccomend these albums from other east coast acts: Wu-Tang Clan-Enter the Wu Tang (CLASSIC) Nas-Illmatic O.C.-Word....Life Mobb Deep-The Infamous.... xjustinxschwierx
the smiths Death on Wednesday. Think if you cross face to face, social d and the smiths. the misfits "horror punk" is a joke, so is every band that goes that route. this is all you really need. crime in stereo are a mediocre band at best. go buy a fucking Chain of Strength record. jay z I'll preface this by saying I know jack shit about hip hop. Atmosphere. start with God Loves Ugly Dalek. all their records are a interesting journey of sonic assault. blacklisted this band just really wants to be Life of Agony. So go guy River Runs Red or Ugly. terror Buried Alive was and will always be the greatest Scott Vogel band* (*I never saw Despair, and people who's opinion I respect/are older and saw them play live, say Despair). BA is the perfect band. everything is great. have heart looks like you already have all of Bane's albums so you're covered.

salparadise
heads vs breakers pulp the speedies death in june john vanderslice (maybe, just because i love to throw him in whenever) edan (hip hop) dalek (hip hop) J Dilla nervous breakdown (florida not germany) since you're into american nightmare. restless youth (real great hardcore band from...belgium? maybe germany, anyway totally awesome. sort of different from the norm. but good just the same.) the ordinary boys (fun, throwing it in cause it was in my stuff and everyone should listen to them) another breath verse's "rebuild" death is not glamorous born to lose oh duh and obviously, GZA's "Liquid swords"
