murakami
two questions: does anyone have/know if A Grand Dont Come for Free was ever pressed and, if so, anywhere it can be purchased has anyone seen a pre-order for the new record that drops in a month? Guest Admin
two questions:does anyone have/know if A Grand Dont Come for Free was ever pressed and, if so, anywhere it can be purchased has anyone seen a pre-order for the new record that drops in a month? according to my distributor, there is vinyl for it, but they don't have it. They do have: HARDEST WAY TO MAKE AN EASY LIVING if anyone wants it.

cosmonaut
that is a sweet collection. yeah, it is. i would really like to get 'a grand' on vinyl. that's a super good record. i wasn't feeling 'hardest way' too much though.

brentoage
original pirate material is totally awesome.
youarethere
Original Pirate Material is phenominal. The 3rd is a bit shit though tbh. Safe Streets collection! On a side note, the piano loop in Has It Come To This is probably one of the lushest sounds possible.
manicdogbert
I have a copy of A Grand Don't Come for Free on vinyl. if anybody is interested, PM me an offer.
tkprtyrhd
I've been lucky in finding all his stuff for pretty cheap, Stumbled on Original Pirate Material for 10 pound in the UK, A Grand for $15 Can off a friend, and Hardest Way is always being sold off for cheap hahaha. youarethere
I wouldn't think it'd be too expensive anyway. I have all of his albums on CD from before when I bought vinyl. So I kind wanna buy the LPs but it seems a little pointless now.
thesupervillain
Obviously OPM is the best, but honestly except for the track Blinded By The Lights, I thought A Grand Don't Come For Free was total shit. I liked The Hardest Way so much more but even on that album, half of the songs weren't that great. And from what I've heard of his new album from his myspace, it's going to be even worse. However I will continue to support this dude since Original Pirate Material pretty much changed the way I think about music and he got me and my best friend in to his show on his personal guestlist and into the after party. big up skinnerrrrrrr
youarethere
Haha nice. I don't get the AGDCFF comments though, I think it's very similar to OPM. THWHMAEL is his weakest by a mile imo.
fridge
I think the reason I love a grand... so much is because of the last track. its magical.

lechevre
I'd really like to get AGDCFF on vinyl. It's a great break up album, well imo.
