Hot Water Music and Bouncing Souls at a 1200 person venue with security and a gate up front OR Fucked Up and Sex Vid in a 200-300 person room with no security and no gate. OR Matt and Kim (not happening, I like em, but I saw em open for Against Me and the other shows seem like the better choice). This is the decision I have to make this Saturday. I'm leaning towards the Fucked Up show because I have seen The Souls 5 times, twice with no security, and I have never really listened to Hot Water Music. Depends, they are all good bands, but FUCKED UP and Sex/Vid are just mad crazy. HWM is good, but live, FUCKED UP is just way more entertaining. I havent' seen BOUNCING SOULS since 96' and the only thing i can remember from that show (due to being in a drunken stupor) was my friend almost getting knifed. Yeah...I love the Souls, but I agree with this statement. I never really got past "Summer Vacation" as far as studio stuff either, but it was an enjoyable album.
