benchwarmer
The title should read Oakland's shitty photoshop job of his awesome record room but it wouldn't fit. Here's what he asked me to post:
jhulud
Kinda hard to see but I get the idea. Looks good.
benchwarmer
yea, hopefully he can post (or email me and I'll post again) the single pictures, might be able to get a better idea. either way, it's epic.
silentgods
singles.... singles would be better.
oakland
I don't know if you can see it, but the two ends come together to form a circle. The problem with the single shots is that the room is an awkward size / orientation. It's in a loft that's 5 feet deep, goes around a corner, has a handrail on one side and is accessible only by a spiral staircase. It's awesome, but hard to photograph. desensitizedbyu
Just take single pictures, we'll still be able to see the awesomeness.

jochert
looks cool, kinda small to see it all, but what i can see looks pretty cool. You can 'stitch' the original pictures together to form a big panorama picture (or quicktime VR, so you can scroll around the room). It's pretty easy, i've done it before with http://stitcher.realviz.com/ but that's not free software. There's should be freeware or opensource stitching software out there... I found this for the mac: http://echoone.com/DoubleTake/ also not free ah, found some opensource software: http://www.all-in-one.ee/~dersch/ edit: you can download a free trial at http://stitcher.realviz.com/ for mac and pc...really easy to use stitching software... oakland
All great ideas. I'll do the video I think. It would give a better impression of how rad it is that this is in my house. My house is only about 900 sq. feet so having an elevated library is great.

oakland
Well I got lucky. My dad is a retired woodworker. He's built windows / doors / etc. for a lot of very nice houses (some movie stars), so my little loft was probably not much trouble for him. I did the hardwood floors since I know how already, and my buddy across the street is a contractor so he helped me finish it all up. I'll do the video later today.
