I am so absolutely excited to be working with Asian Man Records on this pre-order. This band needs no introduction, but back when this album was originally released, it was the world’s introduction to Alkaline Trio. Asian Man is doing an all-star make-over on the album and ever since it was announced ages ago, our message board has been buzzing.

Here is the scoop. Goddamnit is getting repressed on 6 different colors being pressed 500 pieces at a time, 5 of which we will have available:

SKY BLUE

WHITE

CLEAR W/ RED SPLATTER

RED and BLACK(Half and Half)

RED WITH BLACK SMOKE (Vinyl Collective Exclusive color)

Purchasing a copy gives you the opportunity at a chance for a test pressing of “Goddamnit”. Purchasing all 5 of the colors will get you a slightly lower price as well as a bonus copy of the CD/DVD release of Goddamnit.

Note that the records are not due for release until the end of February of 2008. If you place an order for this along with other items, you will have to wait til this re-release comes in stock before your order ships.

I stared at the screen for about 20 minutes trying to decide between the VC exclusive colour and sky blue. I went with sky blue. I like solid colours more and this is a more unusual colour scheme.

Yeah, the VC color sounds sweet. I love this band, and am really excited about having this on vinyl (without paying an arm and a leg).
