gravitylovesdrunks
when a package comes and the corners of the record sleeves are all bent up. happened to me today with my deep elm 6 vinyl package deal. good deal, but shitty that they couldn't take the proper precautions to mail it in a decent fashion. chiefwahoo
You make a good point. Whenever I mail a record, I make sure there's enough padding of some sort to make sure the record can not move within the package. Something as simple as newspaper will work. It won't end all crushed corners, but it would stop a lot of them if the record can't move within the package.

gravitylovesdrunks
it's the little things that count and stand out. when you ship records and the corners come all bent, people remember that shit.
mcm1610
I got a copy of Thursday's Full Collapse and the mailman left it on the porch in the rain, so it's heavily water damaged. That's the only travel-damage I've gotten that really bugs me.
jawbreaker
when i emailed deep elm about my latterman covers being messed up, they sent me all new ones. which were also messed up. so i gave up, haha. The same thing happened with my Propagandhi Potekmin City Limits from G7. The shipping box was trashed and inside the gatefold was a mess. They were willing to ship me a replacement for the cost of shipping from Canada, which I was okay with. When the new one arrived the box and sleeves were damaged in the same way, so like you, I just gave up.
