scottheisel
Hey, I'm way more famous than these jamokes, don't you want to interview me too???Also, am I the only person here getting to town on Thursday? Flood, I know you and the ladies are coming up late Thursday night after the Tampa show... We'll be down there early Thursday afternoon, I think before you. Want to dig an underground tunnel to get easy access to Common Grounds? I was thinking about renting jetpacks and rocketing ourselves in. Or I could just pretend to be the drummer for the Ergs like I did last year to skip the line and see Armalite. Keep in mind, that means the guy guarding the patio thought this guy: Looked like this guy:
controlthebleeding
i heard about this...scott, you just happen to get in everywhere. didn't you get into the SXSW HWM show through the side door as well?

kirbypuckett
why aren't they playing anymore? Hello Everybody. I can't tell you how sad it makes us to inform you that we are not able to play THE FEST 7 later this month. Jack is about to be a father and needs to be around for his soon to be born son. I tried convincing him that Floyd kinda looks like a baby and maybe Jack could practice changing diapers and holding Floyd like a baby in a gigantic baby bjorn in Gainesville... but he insisted on staying home for, "The real deal". Can't say I blame him really. To the kids going to THE FEST 7: If any of you see Tony Whiskeyrunnerwinebender please go out of your way to thank him for the best festival in punk rock. If any of you have ever been to another festival, you know what I mean. Tony works insanely hard to book and coordinate this amazing event every year for all of us punks to have a place to go be ourselves and see some of the most fun and best bands in the country. TONY FEST FUCKING RULES..... hug him every time you see him. In other news we have a record coming out on Oct 28th. It's called Little Brother and it's a 5 song EP. Our full length record African Elephants is expected out in early spring of next year. Love Your Life. Positivity and creativity will save us all. Guest genericinsight
Broadway Calls 4:30 - 5:00 @ Market Street Pub **BIG CONFLICT PROBLEM** Armalite 5:20 - 5:50 @ Common Grounds Chillerton (side stage) 8:00 - 8:20 @ the Venue **CONFLICT** Landmines 8:20 - 8:40 @ 1982 heres what you should do... armalite (they play like 2 shows a year! broadway calls totally tours a lot) chillerton (awesome band, awesome dudes, plus they're from the UK. landmines tours a lot too) The conflict is/was between Landmines and Algernon, not Landmines and Chillerton (and was with DTM, but now that they are not playing it makes it a little easier). Chillerton is an absolute MUST for me. And with Armalite vs. BC, here's the thing with that... I'm well aware Armalite rarely plays and BC always tours, but, I'm friends with the BC dudes (lol namedrop!) and I have literally not seen them in a year... the only shows they are playing after the Fest are ones that I can't go to. It's a rough one. However, I just double checked and they aren't even conflicting... these bands are my huge conflict problem: Armalite 5:20 - 5:50 @ Common Grounds The Riot Before 5:20 - 5:50 @ Market Street Pub No Trigger 5:20 - 5:50 @ the Atlantic Banner Pilot (side stage) 5:00 - 5:20 @ the Venue Jena Berlin 5:30 - 5:50 @ 1982
scottheisel
Broadway Calls seems like the type of band who will be playing house shows that weekend, so you can always see them at one of those.

Guest genericinsight
Broadway Calls seems like the type of band who will be playing house shows that weekend, so you can always see them at one of those. I got a message from a band today who told me that supposedly Tony is cancelling a lot of the house shows for some reason... so I don't know which ones are actually happening anymore. However, if they still do and BC plays one I will absolutely catch one. But they don't really conflict is what I'm saying. Eric read my conflict problems wrong.
