alphajerk
What I hear is that there are only 2 or 3 vinyl pressing plants in the USA, and what with the recent increase in demand for vinyl, there are pressing delays for all kinds of titles. I'm curious ... what are the names and locations of the companies, do they have websites? Or have I been misled? Thx L
nickheitman
i believe there are more than 3. and i know they have websites, but i am not too familiar with many of them, but i'm sure someone from a label will post here soon

monk0nuggets
I'm pretty sure recordpressing.com is doing their own pressing now. I talked to them on the phone last week and they said they are doing everything in house now.
aarondanger
That's impossible. You don't just the equipment to press records. Read the website "low quality" american vinyl. Get stoked
matt
last i had heard from the dudes at recordpressing it was an "undisclosed" plant in california. my guess would be erika but who knows. i dont know why they would be so cryptic about it. these machines are nearly impossible to come by. bill smith still gets my vote! It was great hearing him comment on the local art noise rock stuff that he didn't really like.

Guest afsdan
Brooklyn Vinyl never used em, just saw em on CBS Sunday Morning once. one of those "wow, they still make records!" segments.
sgoodcore
I've done well by Rainbo in southern california but being able to pick-up records is a total plus. They're a little limited in what they do but I don't need really out there colors as of yet. And their prices were great. There's a ton of places you can go to get vinyl done but not many are the actual people who do the pressing. Hence why it seems there's a ton but there's only a very limited few.
