j4m35
Fuck yes. pretty sure thats illegal, not that i give a fuck, just sayin. nick, most rural counties in the south and select states in the midwest lean right. these are the counties that get counted before major cities and the surrounding areas which typically lean left. hope that helps. riddle350
sooo, i'm looking at that map shit on cnn, and it looks like alot of the states are favoring mccain? is this bad or am i just new to this whole thing? although he appears ahead there arn't enough votes counted in those states to truly call yet. I recommend the map on msnbc.com they are more conservative about calling states and they tend to hold out longer than other networks so if you see a state called on there than you know that it's should be accurate. captainmorgan
Or New York Times! They have a little pop up window that updates itself and has a map, percentages, and the "calls" from the 7 major networks. Also, NYT has had headlines up all day referring to the election as "epic." riddle350
if Obama doesn't win it'll be an "epic" fail haha

patron
So for SC it says Obama got more percent, but McCain won? Or does that mean he's projected to win?
captainmorgan
So for SC it says Obama got more percent, but McCain won? Or does that mean he's projected to win? They probably haven't counted many of the votes yet. So right now Obama is winning, but whoever's news you're looking at must be projecting it'll go for McCain
riddle350
current msnbc.com calls Obama-103 McCain-
Snaggle Von Swift
nothing is official, everything they are reporting [in terms of states won] are projections. which is kind of annoying. just call it when it's official

riddle350
nothing is official, everything they are reporting [in terms of states won] are projections.which is kind of annoying. just call it when it's official the reason why they don't do that is because sometimes they don't know for sure untill the next day. Hell here in washington where only two counties are not mail in only ballots they are estimating that it'll take a week untill all the ballots are counted.
