scottheisel
Well, I got back about 24 hours ago, but I've been too goddamn busy to post all day. Anyway, show fuckin' ruled. Setlists, in order: POLAR BEAR CLUB Election Day Parked In The Parking Lot Of Your Heart Eat Dinner, Bury The Dog, And Run Hollow Place Resent And Resistance Burned Out In A Jar Our Ballads The Bug Parade Most Miserable Life A WILHELM SCREAM Career Suicide Famous Friends And Fashion Drunks Congratulations Less Bright Eyes, More Deicide Check Request Denied Anchor End (this is on the setlist but I truly don't remember them playing it) I Wipe My Ass With Showbiz 5 To 9 The Kids Can Eat A Bag Of Dicks Get Mad, You Son Of A Bitch Jaws 3, People 0 The Soft Sell Me Vs. Morrissey In The Pretentiousness Contest (The Ladder Match) Killing It The Horse The Rip The King Is Dead ENCORE: Diver Shit was awesome. AWS has soooo many jams. You don't even realize it until their set's over and there's still songs you wanted to hear, even though they played 18 damn songs already. Such a killer band. Also, I met takingchase and his brother -- what's up, VC boardie meet-ups!

jhamm212
Every time I've seen Polar Bear club (3 times) they've played Parked... followed by Election Day and the transition is awesome. Odd to see they changed it up.

Odd to see they changed it up. I might have those in the wrong order. It's probably the other way around.

cptchaos
Wish I had made it to this instead of their Fest set. All I caught of that was The Rip, which to me would have been worth the drive from Milwaukee. Pretty jealous of you right now Scott.

controlthebleeding
I was lucky enough to see POLAR BEAR CLUB, with The Swellers, and Broadway Calls, the day before FEST in Tallahassee. Till then I hadn't really heard much of them. Fuck me for not listening to them earlier. This band rules!!!!

scottheisel
diver? fuck, that's awesome. i wish they'd played diver when i saw them twice in one week a few months back. Yeah, I'd never seen them play it live before. Everyone was cheering for an encore, and they were like, "Well, on the count of three, yell out the song you want us to play the most," and a whole bunch of people were screaming, "DIVER!!" Nuno was like, "We'll try, but I don't think I remember it." That was a buncha bullshit, because it sounded spot-on.
brentoage
it's too bad that polar bear club didn't play "his devotee". that song rules live. also, i wish i could have seen these 2 bands play together.
kellyjanice
man wish I had gone to this show. I was supposed to see Wilhelm Scream a few years back in columbus and after we braved the snow to get there the show was cancelled due to the weather. lokithelion
I've seen the scream play diver twice. I'm a lucky SOB. Granted I haven't gotten to see them in a long time so I'm not that lucky.
