monk0nuggets
I just went to my old high school music teacher's house. In every room he has a completely McIntosh sound system including, receiver, power amps, cd player, tuner speakers and of course, turntable. Seriously ridiculous. I didn't have a camera at the time or I would post a picture for you guys. My mind is blown.

monk0nuggets
Yeah, but he also is a musician and conductor and director. He's done quite a few musicals in Buffalo. He's also 51, and was a bachelor for 16 after his first divorce, so he just put all of his money into his sound equipment and record collection. His reel to reel collection is pretty intense too. cosmonaut
His reel to reel collection is pretty intense too. Reel-to-reel players are awesome. I might try to track one down at a thrift store. I love how they look, and they sound great too.
oakland
I have one. And yes, they sound great. Got an old set of pioneer headphones, the big-ass white ones that look like aviator headphones. Put that on and rock out to some Janis Joplin (It's all my dad's old stuff), or listen to tapes of my dad under rocket attack in vietnam. It's nutso. monk0nuggets
So....Why were you hanging out with your old high school music teacher? Ewww. He was one of the only teachers I kept in contact with after I graduated and I told him recently that I had started a vinyl label and he asked me if I wanted to come over and listen to my releases on his system.
