monk0nuggets
I'm watching this moving and I'm thinking that younger Gene Hackman looks a lot like John C. Reilly looks right now. Reilly has a little bit of a goofier look, but they are quite similar with straight faces.
scooterist136
I watched "Versus" last night. That film is ridiculous and wonderful. If you like martial arts and zombies, check it out.

scooterist136
I watched "The Midnight Meat Train" tonight. It has Vinnie Jones in it from Snatch, Lock Stock, etc. It's directed by Ryûhei Kitamura, who directed Versus and Alive. The film has some decent gore in it. Some of the special effects aren't that great but some rule it. Definitely worth watching if you like gore and Vinnie Jones...although he has no dialog in the film. I watched "Infection" last night. You are correct about the movie being meh. I didn't really like it. I had potential but failed on many levels. If you like the series, then you'll probably like the movie. But just to warn you, the humor is even more silly in the movie.

scooterist136
Recently watched "RockNRolla" and "Casshern". RockNRolla was good, exactly what I expected. Casshern was watched because of a lady friend liking sci-fi. It's a japanese film. Not really my thing. The cinematography was beautiful and vibrant with color much like "House of Flying Daggers". I don't watch anime but she said it had an anime feel to it. I'm going to see the remake of "Last House on the Left" tonight.

Better?Worse?
scooterist136
I liked Snatch and Lock, Stock better but RockNRolla was good. It's definitely a Richie movie. Some of the scenes were pretty damn funny. Both Snatch and Lock, Stock had Bullet Tooth Tony. He made those movies for me.
rocknroll76
As long as it's "decent", I had heard some bad things about it. Putting it on Netflix now!
