gmoney
Andrew Dost, who is a great dude who used to be in Anathallo but is now in Fun (new group from The Format guys), has released a new vinyl called Columbus. And Jesse Lacey sings on a song. Here are the guests: Michael Nau (of Page France and The Cotton Jones Basket Ride) Jesse Coppenbarger (of Colour Revolt) Jesse Lacey (of Brand New) Nate Ruess (of The Format) Joel Thiele (of anathallo) To read more, check out his myspace: http://www.myspace.com/andrewdost It's on two different colors of wax, which be bought here: http://www.paperandplastick.bigcartel.com/product/andrew-dost-columbus-12-inch-vinyl The total for both with shipping in the states is $32. Pricey shipping but worth it.

mcm1610
Are any of these songs on his myspace or is this older stuff? And any lyrics? As a history nerd and future history teacher, I kind of want to read his lyrics if it's supposedly a play about Columbus... to see how he's presented. mcm1610
I guess at least 2 of them are on the album. I don't know how I feel about it, not quite my style I don't think.

danthemjfan23
i love concept albums, more people should do them. i think so many albums nowadays lack focus, and having a concept to write about makes it so much easier to stay focused. it, in my opinion, would also REALLY separate the great songwriters from the shitty ones, cause it's something that isn't as easy to do as people would think. steveooo
This album is screaming out to be made into a stage musical.
