tanukichu
I chose liquors because I'm still more of a liquor person moreso than beer. I love me a good vodka drink. It's just shitty because most of my friends hate vodka so we rarely ever get it. But I have been drinking beer more and more lately. I'm starting to grow a taste for it. But I'm still too much of a rookie to know what kind is my favorite. I've mostly just had cheap beer that you commonly find in most college age peoples' dwellings. mattstrike
And yet we Philadelphians are endowed with one of the best beer spots, Monk's Cafe!! When you have money, you should check it out.
kirbs84
Not my favorite by a long shot, but I finally tried Budweiser's American Ale tonight. I heard mostly bad things about it, but I honestly kind of liked it. May make it into my rotation when I'm in the mood for something other than my usual. quinncallahan
My go to beer not only is that a fantastic beer but all their brews are flavorful but like in general. and New orleans is a bad ass place! I tend to like lagers and IPAs but there are certain beers from across the board that strike my fancy. I think one of my favorite things about Philly is that there are like 8 badass breweries within 150 miles so there is always GREAT and resonably priced beers around! please there are awesome places like Monk's and Eulogy that have like EVERY beer in the WORLD! ps I love beer if you didn't notice. captainmorgan
I pretty much can't drink liquor anymore. I'll have a margarita or a rum and coke once in a blue moon, but for the most part blech Was disappointed to see ales underrepresented in the poll. My current go-to beer is a darker amber or a nut brown ale. Have favorites in every style, though. Can't beat a good pils in the summer, or a thick stout when its cold outside! Currently in my fridge: and

konk
Definitely agree with the Abita. I drank that for Thanksgiving along with Dixie, which wasn't as good. I'll give Dixie another try if they go back to brewing it in New Orleans. At home it's always Lone Star. Always. Oh yeah and I hate Shiner. I am just a beer nazi I guess. that being said my brother keeps pouring me guinness and I need to not be drinking lol.
