I really hoped it would have gotten better but no dice. It spent way to long trying to build sympathy for the killers or to build this, "OMG now the roles are reversed and the cop is the killer" and it didn't work. I never once felt sorry for those people and I was never once surprised or scared. And that closing scene with fucking "Free Bird"?! What the fuck?! deafmx Posted December 18, 2008 Share Posted December 18, 2008 the timeline was kinda off in his first remake. like it was supposed to be 1979 or 1980 and the girl was wearing a slayer 'haunting the chapel' shirt. come on. 1984. bugged me the whole rest of the movie. it was nice and bloody, i guess. kinda boring overall. but he got the girl from pt 4/5 nude and covered in blood....priceless. kinda curious about this one. it's more reasonable to follow his movies over his music these days.
