oakland
So I bought BOTH of the new Margot and the Nuclear So and sos LPs yesterday. Both have a place for a download code inside, but only one has a code printed. I'm sure I can get it, but I'm just annoyed, especially after forking over so much for both versions of the record. spikewilbury
I just got the Dept. of Eagles album and the code doesn't work. I emailed the company, and it says he's going to be out of the office till Jan. 5th.

birdwell
I picked up the Birds of Avalon record "Bazaar Bazaar" a while back and have been w/o a computer for a while...finally tried to download the mp3s and didn't work...e-mailed the company and apparently there's a time-frame that you have to download it by...so any record sitting in a store past this amount time gets fucked, regardless of purchase date by the consumer...I understand that it cost money to host that shit an all, but it's not like milk...shit's not legit...pissed me off my download code for the Fleet Foxes record didn't work either...thankfully I have the CD for Sun Giant and Self-Titled, just figured downloading the actual mp3s would be higher quality than what iTunes would rip it at... jon720
a google search and a "Mediafire, megaupload, whatever" next to the name and album can pretty much find anything you want.
melikecheese
weird so many codes don't work...I have used every code I ever got with no issues, like 20 codes...bad luck I guess?

divaface
they said there were problems with some of the codes. message them on myspace and they should be able to help you out.
andrew13
could always just buy the MP3s! who pays for MP3's? i love digital downloads, but i refuse to pay .99 cents a song for something when i can have it in a physical format.
lechevre
The funny thing for me is any smaller label I've gotten this from has been no problems, but the majors are always the worst. Sony in particular is a label I always have a difficult time downloading the LP's from the codes.

(unless its at the Subliminal Sounds shop cause shipping from Sweden is rough.) But it seemed like a big deal that the coupons didn't work so that was my recommendation. scottheisel
My digital download code for Jaguar Love's Take Me To The Sea didn't work, and I spent over a month exchanging emails with Matador before they finally gave me another code. (Well, most of that month was them ignoring my repeated emails.)
andrew13
see scott if you'd just use torrents you wouldn't have had to worry about that. in under an hour, depending on your connection, you could have it and be enjoying it.
