scottheisel
It's a heartbreaking story. I know the guy; he occasionally writes for me.

iliketurtles
Balls! It's times like this I think I should really think about renter's insurance or something. Anyone have a policy that covers their collection?
murgorgoroth
Balls! It's times like this I think I should really think about renter's insurance or something. Anyone have a policy that covers their collection? no, at the rate my collection is growing I think that I will strongly consider it by this time next year
danthemjfan23
this absolutely sucks, but this guy sounds like a pretentious asshole.
jawbroken
i've got renter's insurance, muahaha i hate how incompetent movers can be. when my family moved this past summer, I was at the house helping, and it was nightmare. haha when I moved into this house, I sat with my (still relatively small) collection in the front end of the uhaul, just to be sure
Guest drahtuos
i can almost feel how this guy feels just thinking about it, our record collections at least for the ones who are truly obsessed are like children. i always joke with my family who all know what it's like to have and raise children that i can almost relate because i have had and raised a record collection. having something like this happen would devastate me especially with the situation of the guy who's collection perished in the fire. my heart goes out to both of those dudes. jordan999
I lost half my collection (~100 pieces) in my last move, and it fucking sucks. But my car was broken into and they pulled them out my trunk the one night they were in there. Awesome start to a new city.
geezfools
ouch. We just had a ton of flooding here in washington, makes me think about my shit. Need to get my camera ger insured, as well as my music...
jordan999
renter's insurance is pretty cheap and covers just about everything, and in most normal cases as well.
kyleevanswastaken
That was a long boring sob story.
