andrew13 Posted January 27, 2009 Share Posted January 27, 2009 if ska is ever to come back, it's going to lie on the shoulders of all the third wave bands still kicking it. the amount of GOOD, new, up and coming ska bands is very small there is a big scene in the Philly/NYC/NJ/W-B area. other than that, ska is pretty much gone. in western pa we almost never get ska shows. in W-B there were several really good young bands like Slightly Askew, The Argyles, Big Green, and Bob & the Sagets (who later became the Menzingers!)
