  1. I wish I could go to the Fat Wreck show, but without a wristband I bet it will be a huge bitch to get into. So far its the only show I'd want to go to where I would be super stocked on every band.
  2. I just finished my first listen, and I enjoy it a lot. I need to sit down with the lyrics on my next listen. I hit refresh a bunch of times to see all the covers. I picked the one of Jeff in those cool glasses.
  3. I woke up a couple of days ago to find my cat Darby dead on my floor. He had some kind of cardiac episode out of no where. He was only 6 so it was pretty shocking. I'm going to have a beer right now for him and all our other furry friends we lost this year. Here's to you fur ball.
  4. I like this a lot, I would totally get it. It kinda reminds me of MU330.
  5. I just got back from the Dallas show. They were ok, not great, but pretty good. I don't know about 29 dollars good though. It was definitely the shortest amount of time I have ever seen them play. It was barely over an hour and that was with plenty of not that funny banter. Thankfully there wasn't much new stuff, mostly stuff off Losing Streak and Hello Rockview. What really bummed me out was only one song off Pezcore.
  6. The last time I saw LTJ there were maybe 250 people at the House of Blues. I saw Bowling for Soup there a couple months ago and they sold it out. I was pretty shocked.
  7. I want to see them at the Dallas show, but the venue they are playing it sucks. Maybe if I miraculously find money somewhere or I actually go to my job some more, I will go. I believe it would be the 12th or 13th time I've seen them since I was 14.
  8. This movie was an extremely brutal beat down, but I still really enjoyed it. They did leave two of my favorite parts out which kinda sucked.
  9. I prefer spending the extra 30 cents and getting a Mickey's. It's a fine malt liquor.
  10. I wish this tour would come to my area of the south. Mustard Plug hasn't been here since 03. My street team membership is going to waste.
  11. I'm hoping the guy with the two fingers dragged him out and they are plotting some revenge. The local fire department does have a history of not finding bodies in Charming.
  12. This and Dexter are my favorite dramatic shows on TV right now. Ron Pearlman is awesome. In college I did a huge research paper on biker gangs. The Patriot act kinda fucked them and now the government classifies them as terrorists. It's kinda sucks for them. All the ones that do this kinda shit pretty much had to move to Canada.
  13. Shadow Complex and Castle Crashers are awesome. I like the South Park tower defense game a lot, but it gets really hard if you don't have people to play with. The Castlevania: Symphony of the Night Remake is totally badass if you have never played that game before. My gamer tag is jercjast if you are looking for another friend on there.
  14. One of my friends is a roommate with a dude in Stymie (#42) and he has had them for since a couple months.
  15. http://www.bobanddavid.com/2007/10/an_open_letter_to_larry_the_ca.html There's the whole letter that is reprinted in the book. Most of David's section from that site appears at the end of his book after all the new stuff.
  16. This episode was amazing. It definitely makes a lot more sense the second time through.
  17. That's pretty awesome, I hadn't seen that one before. I have the AT-AT and its one my prized Lego.
  18. Bob actually answered when David called and talked to the drunk lady. Bob said he hoped one day to participate in a 10k run to benefit her. There is an audio version of the book that they were selling, but I didn't have enough for it. David also said that they are filming the Boston show for a DVD.
  19. David was really in top form last night. One of the best comedy shows I've ever seen. Of course since it's TX OU weekend here the crowd was full of obnoxious assholes that kept screaming shit at him, but he was great at ridiculing them. Some wasted lady even called him Bob. He never mentioned the book, but 3 or 4 of the bits he did were straight from it. We waited around after the show to try to meet him and he was totally cool. He gave me and my friends beer and talked to us about Arrested Development and Mr. Show.
  20. Since this he is on a tour pretty much solely to promote this book, I bet he'll do something from it. I know someone in the local comedy scene here whose 9 year old child auditioned to open for him. Supposedly David wrote a bit that he needs a young kid to do.
  21. I finished reading it the other day. He is a very angry man. Parts of it are funny, parts are weird fictional stories about his life, and a lot of parts is just him bitching about something. Strangely there isn't that much stuff about republicans or the government. It's mostly attacks on organized religion. I'm seeing him here in Dallas Friday. I hope he does more than just read parts of it since I'm already done with it.
