casey
Are they yodeling on purpose? I mean, Jeff Mangum's voice isn't the best, but it fits the music.
shanholtzer
i don't think i've ever heard a good NMH cover. I haven't really been impressed by any of the covers in the series. I still really want to get the records to have a tangible copy of the artwork at the least. Teenage Bottlerocket's Green Day cover was alright. pjaicomo
It was just a carbon copy.

dante3000
Look Mexico's is still my favorite by far. I like a lot of the songs in the series but that song is just another level of great.

lokithelion
AJJ sings like that normally. I honestly thought they'd do a Mtn Goats cover, but they still pull it off well. My favorite NMH cover is still the joint Brand New/Manchester Orchestra/Kevin Devine and the Goddamn Band massive cover of Holland 1945. Two drum sets, a horn section, four guitars, two bass, keys and massive gang vocals. Shit was intense.
