jaggedthoughts
Has anyone heard any new updates on when the lp's may actually ship? Looks like they sold out during pre-order.
adammuzzy
few more months
ronniethebear
I don't think they sold out, they just took the preorder page down. And like Adam said, I wouldn't expect this for another couple months or so. Hyperrealist are horrible about getting things done.
kurtz
On a side note, does anyone know the status on the Black Tusk and Skeletonwitch records?

vivsavage
I think the Skeletonwitch is supposed to go out the next week or two. If you ordered Black Tusk as well I think they are waiting to ship those 2 together.
steventangent
BARONESS "Red Album" 2xLP is moving right along. Jackets and sleeves are done, but again we're having issues with vinyl. I expect to get news from the plant any time on this one as well and we will be on our way yet again. This is no doubt the most anticipated, most labor intensive and most expensive project we've tackled to date. Please be patient as things are going as quickly as possible. Good records take time and this one is very, very good.
ericxthexred
pat mentioned to me yesterday that the blacktusk is done, but the skeletonwitch had a problem with the test so it was sent back. baroness will be taking longer than those two, so hold ya horses. all three of these records are going to look amaaaaaaazing. monk0nuggets
I can not wait. God damn. I got my copy of Baroness - First in the mail yesterday. Stoked pretty good.
kurtz
When I got Second, First was only selling for like $20-25. I regret not picking up a copy then. I don't think I will get one now, unless they press it again.
leerobert
I bought a copy of First off eBay last spring for £6, which is about $12.

vivsavage
From Hyperrealist: 2008-02-03 Update on new releases. SKELETONWITCH "Beyond the Permafrost" LPs are done! They should be here any day and will start shipping out next week. The band has copies on the road with them right now, so if you're going to catch a show and you've not ordered, you can get one there. BLACKTUSK "Passage Through Purgatory" has hit yet another snag. We stopped production on this one at the last minute to add a poster insert and once things got back on track we ran into trouble with the color vinyl. This shouldn't set us back more than a few days and we expect to have them in our hands in the next couple of weeks. Blacktusk will be hitting the road next month with North Carolina's WEEDEATER. Check out the tour page for dates. BARONESS "Red Album" 2xLP is moving right along. Jackets and sleeves are done, but again we're having issues with vinyl. chubbler108
They keep telling us the same thing. I WANT MY RECORDS!!
wren
If you've seen any of the releases Hyperrealist have done you'd know it's worth the wait. I'd rather things take time and have an awesome record than one that was rushed out. It's a one man operation and that shit is always going to take time. People who pre-order need to realize that pre-orders almost always get delayed.

It may sound like it, but I'm definitely not complaining. I'm just really, REALLY excited to get these.
wren
You're in for a treat dude. All the releases are really nice looking. REALLY nice. As long as people are truly willing to back DIY labels and be patient, things turn out great for everyone, just takes time.
steventangent
right on. I just can't wait to see it is all. I don't have anything Hyperrealist has put out so far, but the pictures look really nice. Plus I feel super guilty that I haven't paid for Red Album but have been enjoying the shit out of it.
