1-2-3-4 Go! Records is moving!

Recommended Posts

Dudes and ladies,

As of March 1st the 1-2-3-4 Go! Records retail store will be two doors down from it's current location. Same building and everything, just 15 feet away. Our new address is 423 40th Street, Oakland, CA 94609 if you want to stop by for a visit or send us mash notes. The new space is a little over twice the size of the current store so we'll be able to carry even more records and other whatsits. We're also going to start having monthly art shows. Our first will be with Oakland artist and leader of the Clams, Shannon Shaw. You can see some examples of her artwork at her website http://www.shannonshaw.net ...which she needs to update by the way! Anyway we'll be open in the old location all through February so don't hesitate to stop by.

1-2-3-4 Go! Records needs your help!!!

So as you now know, we're moving in to a new space. The rent is slightly higher and we need to raise money to help cover all the expenses related to the move and stock orders. This is where you come in. If you're a bay area native, come down to the store this month if you can and get some new music to get you through the last days of winter. It would also help if you could slyly work us in to your daily conversations to spread the word of mouth about the place. You'd be surprised how easily you can work us in to your Black Masses, Youth Groups and Co-op and various Anonymous meetings. If you live elsewhere and could peruse our catalog and make an order this month we'd be ever so grateful! We're also going to start doing some ebay auctions this Sunday including rare editions and test pressings of releases from 1-2-3-4 Go! Records. Many of which are the final personal copies we have left. Auctions will go up at 6pm PST this sunday. You can check them out at http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/the1234gorecordsstore

1-2-3-4 Go! Records is going to drink way too much!!!

March 15th at The Stork Club in Oakland we'll be having our year anniversary/grand re-opening party/show. Bands lined up so far are Nobunny, The Pets and Shannon and the Clams. We're hoping to pull of at least one or two more "special guests". We'll keep you updated and out too late for a Sunday night.

Also not to step on any toes but we do mail order stuff to at our website if you want to check it out. http://www.1234gorecords.com I think we carry a different set of stuff than Virgil so it's not too much competition. Anyway...any help you can give is much appreciated!
