jhulud
No idea on support. According to the Metallica website, onsale dates for tickets are either 4/4 or 4/11 depending on the venue. Ticketmaster already has a few listed: http://www.ticketmaster.com/Metallica-tickets/artist/735647?tm_link=tm_homeA_h10

ihprstl
Saw them in November and I really enjoyed it. If you've never seen them or been to a huge arena rock show, I suggest doing it at least once.
justinfastbreak
I saw them on 1/1/00 and i remember everyone was afraid of Y2K ruining the concert or something...well it didn't and they seriously played like 22 encores. They would go out play 3 songs, leave and repeat that 7 or so times. I don't really care for Metallica so it was frustrating.
littlejonnyhormone
Scott. I've never seen Metallica and they aren't coming to Pittsburgh. Get me in Cleveland's show.

cosmonaut
The band has a lot of shitty material, but they'll probably play a few of the old favorites. I'm not sure I'd pay $50 to hear a handful of older songs, especially if I had to sit through a bunch of post-Justice songs.
headtowall
when i graduated high school, my uncle gave me a ticket to Summer Sanitarium tour. i went saw the deftones, then promptly left. metallica is garbage.

A few: King Nothing, Hero of the Day, Outlaw Torn, Sad But True, The Unforgiven, Wherever I May Roam, Where the Wild Things Are, and Fixxxer to be specific. when i graduated high school, my uncle gave me a ticket to Summer Sanitarium tour. i went saw the deftones, then promptly left. metallica is garbage. jhulud
I'm getting my tickets for this tour... I don't get why a lot of people hate on Metallica. Was it the Napster thing? Is it because they veered off the thrash metal path? What was it? I can understand some of the point of views...to me, a long-time fan, all the albums post-Justice have been ok...nothing great. Sure, the black album broke them through to the mainstream and their style had changed. But that tends to happen when a band matures as people and songwriters. I'd rather see a band evolve and try different things out than for me to hear the same riffs and songs on each and every single album. That gets boring after a while... I'm just droppng my two cents...

sgoodcore
they're self righteous assholes. they spoke out against the same process that made them popular in the first place (p2p today is the same as tape trading in the 80s). not to mention they put out shit album after shit album after shit album for a decade.with that being said. Fact is, when they were part of tape trading, they were good with it from their fans. They were not good with a song being stolen from them and leaked, which is totally reasonable. As for shit album, you're entitled to your opinion but their S/T record, Load, Re-Load, and St. Anger all had decent to good songs on them. They were decent to good records just not decent to good Metallica records.
