murakami
this is terrible. i havent watched this show that i cant think of one episode that i love. just random lines come to mind. that being said, my favorite scene is where homer is eating peanuts and drops one under the couch. finds a 20$ bill and is disappointed that its not a peanut until his brain describes the economic principle of the exchange of cash for goods. murakami
oh, and looking at my current avatar, have to say the one with Stampy is pretty good, especially when homer is headbutting the zookeeper at the end

From when Bart joins the junior campers. Season 5, as is Bart Gets an Elephant. Such a toss up for best season between 4,5,6, and 7.
thesupervillain
My favorite episode BY FAR HANDS DOWN is "Pygmoelian" from season 11, and mostly because of the stuff at the Duff Festival at the beginning. It's got my favorite quote from the show ever; when Bart and Milhouse go on the ride that is supposed to simulate being drunk and then as they walk off, they're holding each other by the shoulders stumbling around and Milhouse slurs "This guy... this is the guy..." takingchase
My favorite episode is easily the beer baron or the one where homer goes into space. Basically any homer heavy episode is ranked up top.

tanukichu
Is that a Treehouse of Horror? Treehouse of Horror, season 7. (I watched it last week, I have that season on DVD). I love most of the episodes with memorable showtunes-y type songs, like the Monorail episode. There's just too many episodes for me to pick one all time favorite. King Sized Homer The one where Lisa visits a fortune teller and she shows her the future. I love how even as an adult you never hear Maggie speak. Anything with Sideshow Bob Who Killed Mr. Burns Homerpalooza Mr. Plow The Beesharps episode Any of the "how (insert Simpsons kid) was born" episodes.
