silentgods Posted July 11, 2009 Share Posted July 11, 2009 so i went to my local hot topic to see if i could finally grab wavering radiant, i do. i purchase it. theres a girl and a dude at the register. girl says something to the effect of "do those work?" to which i say yeah, you just need a turntable and a receiver and speakers and standard vinyl collector answer. she then says "theres music on them?" i go slackjawed. dude was better, we talked about turntables and told him shouldn't buy a 90 dollar turntable unless he wants his vinyl to die quickly. buying vinyl from hot topic makes me feel like going to a drug dealer. I gave her my vinyl and she looked at it all funny and asked me if it was a poster, i replied no its vinyl and she rubbed it against some thing on the wall really hard for a really long time. I haven't been to the Galleria in a while, but at the Boulevard Mall, they usually seem knowledgeable. I've been looking through and had them pull out rec's for me and stuff like that.
