patron
Last time I heard anything about it, it was to be released Fall 2008. I guess they announced that The '59 Sound will in fact be out August 19th.
mrc
can we assume they will be doing vinyl?
ps
can we assume they will be doing vinyl? I think thats a safe assumption. I wonder if it will be Side One Dummy, or someone else. They will probably do a preorder deal too, like for the Chuck releases.

dante3000
No offense to Sideonedummy but I kind of hope they don't do the vinyl. I've just never been too into their vinyl packaging.
adamlikesmusic
I wouldn't be surprised if they released it on vinyl, without any sort of "limited edition".
xlovecolouredx
i think it will be awesome if new gaslight anthem is a first of vinyl collective cooporative label....
patron
I think SOD know that a huge portion of the Gaslight fans are people who buy vinyl, so it would be really naive for them not to.

Their limited edition vinyl is really not that limited. True. I think the last limited edition I heard about was the red copies of Gogol Bordello's last album. Those are still available in their store and have been picked up by several other distributors. Not so good on the "limited Edition" end. Guest Admin
can we assume they will be doing vinyl? I am close with the side one cats and they have mentioned doing limited runs on color and we will definitely be working close with them to do a cool pre-order. Not so good on the "limited Edition" end. Pretty sure the red Gogol record was /300, I guess there's just not that much demand. But who cares if it's limited or not? I'm happy with it being on vinyl.
