tim
This lady hauls out a huge rat trap with the biggest fucking rat I have ever seen stuck to it. Looked more like a small dog. It's squirming and squealing and she runs back inside and comes back out with a long bamboo pole. Then she proceeds to crush its skull with it. I also rode down a river on a bamboo raft steered by one of those stereotypical Chinese farmers with a pointy straw hat. There were camels in the river and one was staring me down. Just thought I'd share.

scottheisel
Yeah, really. Rarely is there a thread more deserving of a "Pics or it didn't happen" post.

monk0nuggets
The bamboo raft sounds fun. Seriously, no pics?
tim
Sorry for the late pics... not much internet for me this week. No squished rat head pics. The whole incident happened in a few seconds and I wasn't prepared for the lady to do that until she lined up the bamboo stick with it's skull. I had to look away... Lots of river pics, including irrefutable camel evidence: http://web.me.com/krysko/China_Travels/Nanxi_River.html
