Hirax - Raging Violence

Accept - Balls to the Walls / Restless & Wild

Flower Travellin' Band - Anywhere

Bathory - S/T / Under the Sign of the Black Mark / The Return of Darkness and Evil

Carcass - Symphonies of Sickness

Sodom - Obsessed by Cruelty / Agent Orange

Celtic Frost - To Mega Therion / Morbid Tales (after this they started on their descent into shittyness)

Fates Warning - Anything before 1990

Voivod - anything.. but really listen to the old stuff.. they were very weird and obscure for metal back in the 80's

you know, right before i posted this, i was thinking. fuck i forgot to put scum by napalm death but then remembered, scum wasn't considered metal but grindcore at the time of it's release.

best show ever, brutal truth, carcass, napalm death, and cathedral. that show blew my mind...

i forgot about malevolent creation and suffocation.. i think i may need to buy a few albums soon :)

whoops.. forgot about CATHEDRAL too

yeah, ethereal mirror is a firt metal album who brought me into slower metal.

but it's damned awesome.

about scum, yes, it's grindcore. but i think mood and tone of the music inside is still okay for metalhead.

brutal truth+cathedral+napalm death+carcass is a best show ever.

it's a crash of the titans for 90's brutal grind dudes.

i really wanna see converge with brutal truth in japan this december too much.

i hope i won loterry and i will go....

Dark Tranquility are like a super polished version of this, less Maiden sounding...no cookie monster vocals...though I'd just PM davehoffa and ask for advice. Dave Hoffa: the King of Metal

i love those vocals.

not metal, but my friends started this band not too long ago and use these vocals.
