scottheisel
The only cassettes I currently recall still owning are: Weezer - Pinkerton Texas Is The Reason - Do You Know Who You Are Beastie Boys - Check Your Head Those three tapes, plus a bunch of mixtapes, are all that was played in my old car for about a year after my CD player was stolen and I reinstalled the cassette deck. benchwarmer
I still have all my old tapes somewhere in my closet, I know it has a lot of 90s era grunge like candlebox, pearl jam, smashing pumpkins, and I have a ton of cassette singles, my favorite probably being mc hammers "adams family rap." my current favorite tape is "six songs with jay singing" the kid dynamite demo! kirbypuckett
All tapes should be burned, because it was a horrendous technology. That being said, I have a Lifetime cassette and a Justin Sane (Anti-Flag) demo that I "borrowed" from A-F Records. The latter is for trade/sale/etc
Guest scriptedrain
I threw out all my cassettes about a year or so ago. There were some gems in there, including: Skee-Lo - I Wish Dangerous Minds (Soundtrack) Tag Team - Whoomp! (There It Is) And then some others like "Mellon Collie..." (double), "The Chronic", "Regulate", 2 Hootie albums, "Dookie." Ahh, the good old days. - Jeff
steventangent
I used to have a bunch. I don't even know what happened to them.

skumbucket
the true answer is in the parachute pants. i was bored at work yesterday and wandered onto youtube, where i saw the classic "hammer back-up dancer lost in the suburbs" sketch from conan o'brien. awesome.
