scottheisel
This thread was inspired by some people posting in the Fest 6 thread about shows they've seen on their birthdays. I've been lucky enough to see some great shows on my birthday (March 23); they include: 18th birthday - Alkaline Trio/Gods Reflex 20th birthday - Dashboard Confessional/The Anniversary/Ben Kweller (technically the night before but the show ended past midnight) and NOFX/Mad Caddies/Frenzal Rhomb (unfortunately the girl I was with made me leave before NOFX) 22nd birthday - Mates Of State (also technically the night before) 25th birthday - Billy Talent/Cancer Bats What about you guys and gals? kurtmanner
19th - Ed Gein, Lords, They and the Children, and Onomonopia Kind of a random show for me to go to, as it's not really my thing. But a good show is a good time. I got waaasted. 20th - Rocky Votolato and William Elliott Whitemore. I haven't ever drank so much, and haven't since. I kind of reserve that sort of thing for birthdays.

sgoodcore
When I was 24 or 25 I saw Senses Fail, Alexisonfire, and Silverstein. Wow was that all kinds of overdramatics. My friend and I were two of maybe 5 people at the bar. The bartender at one point asked us why we even came. To this day I have no idea. The EP Senses Fail put out on Drive-Thru was good but that was all. For the most part my birthday always fell on opening night for hockey season so I was there as opposed to going to a show.
