david
Been working on this for maybe a month now and wanted to share. Once in a while when I have a day off I'll go through my collection and take pictures, then a couple nights a week I'll upload a handful of pictures on deadformat before I go to bed. It's been time consuming, but fun. Does anyone else do this? More pictures will be up this week including the Bomb/laura splits and the nofx 7" clubs. http://www.deadformat.net/tradelist/Sloppyfigure8s
sharkticon
Over the past couple months I've been taking pictures of (almost) all of the records I get in the mail. I'd like to go back into my collection and take pictures of everything, but I'm not that motivated yet. All my shots are on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/brianstowell
danthemjfan23
i enjoy the consistency of the backdrop in all of your pictures. +

weshallallbe
But it's still so incomplete! I'm jealous of your variations of the ajj/mischief brew split.
david
But it's still so incomplete! I'm jealous of your variations of the ajj/mischief brew split. Yeah those were tough to get. I think there's also a blue one out there somewhere.
weshallallbe
It seems everyday I get further away from having a complete ajj collection...one of these days I'll get that damn partners in 818 split. Nice work on the photos.
daniel
I should start while my collection is still small. Cool photos by the way.
david
I assume you already preordered the holiday inn LPs?
weshallallbe
I have the fest press, which set me back 50 bucks. So I just ordered it on whit. Don't have the cash for the 4 pack right now. I imagine I'll order the red and black copies next week, but I'm just gonna have to live without a yellow copy in a normal jacket.

sharkticon
One of these days I'll build a sweet lightbox and make my shots look really dope. Until then, the bright overhead light above my stove will have to do.
ihprstl
started this in 2007: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ihatepunkrock/sets/72157602375721472/
david
That is some collection you got there. I'd love to make a contribution if I can. Need anything from my list? A pink LTJ/kemuri perhaps?
ws1fish
this makes me both relieved and slightly distressed that my collection is currently about 15 records long
arnoldlayne
I photograph everything. Fortunately I started early in the collection, 'cause it's a real pain in the ass. But I'm a list geek, and I like looking at other people's vinyl, so I figure it's worth doing it myself. http://www.deadformat.net/tradelist/ArnoldLayne&view=photos
soysquad
I do this also. I'm behind again though. Some stuff I just sold, and there is a stack of stuff I've gotten in the past month that I haven't logged in yet. http://s33.photobucket.com/albums/d62/Soysquad/vinyl/
thestigmachine
Yeah, I photograph all my vinyl as well http://www.flickr.com/photos/thestigmachine/sets/72157601973669390/
fourfourtwo
I do exactly the same thing. Every Friday, during the day (since thats when I have off of work) I take new pictures of the ones I have acquired that week. http://www.deadformat.net/tradelist/edson
arnoldlayne
Yeah, I photograph all my vinyl as wellhttp://www.flickr.com/photos/thestigmachine/sets/72157601973669390/ Sweet HWM collection, man.
travis
I started doing this a while back and have gotten thru a good amount of my LPs but havent photographed any 7"s, 10"s yet. I havent done this for a while but if anyone is interested all the pics I have are on my tradelist. One reason I like checkmyvinyl is cause you can put the pic of the record right next to where its listed on on your trade list.
jhulud
I am getting close to having all 900+ records in my collection photographed. Been doing it for 2-3 years now.
