xjustinxschwierx Posted January 18, 2010 Share Posted January 18, 2010 What is the best way to go about licensing albums to press on vinyl? i have saved up SOOOO much money to start a label, and picked out 30 possible releases... is it best to email the label directly? sorry, im a NOOB Yes, but I'd suggest you do one or two (at least) smaller releases first and get the hang of things, establish yourself, then try to license things. For those interested, got tests this week and they sound great. LPs should be in sometime in February. Also have a few other vinyl releases on Cavity in the works for late Spring and early summer. Recently became friends with one of my favorite bands of the last 15-20 years. Talking about doing some crucial reissues and maybe some new stuff. Beyond stoked if all works out.
