burntwolf
/500 each of purple, green, orange. I've only seen these at elusive disc and they told me they're going to come all sealed so there' s no way to tell what color you're going to get. http://www.elusivedisc.com/prodinfo.asp?number=VLLP908 also MOFI Bossanova preorder is up. Surfer Rosa and Doolittle MOFI releases were frickin' awesome. Worth the money to me.

iamafreeman
damnit, and i just ordered the MOFI Surfer Rosa from Elusive Disc on Sunday. i bought the MOFI Doolittle on Sunday and was totally blown away by how great it sounded and order Surfer Rosa based on that. i'm gonna have to hold off on Bossanova for a couple months though. i have an OG press of the Purple Tape so i'm good there. burntwolf
i have the surfer rosa SACD and that sounds rad too (if you have an SACD player, never played the hybrid layer on a regular CD player). i didn't buy the doolittle or bossanova ones though. just the LP. gravitylovesdrunks
is this a bootleg?
gravitylovesdrunks
WHERE IS "IN HEAVEN"? fuck that. one of the best things about the purple tape.
iamafreeman
maybe they couldn't get the rights to have it on the reissue since it's a cover version. it's not a bootleg. it was licensed to SpinArt when it was initially released then (i'm guessing) SpinArt licensed it to Vinyl Lovers for the reissue. burntwolf
it's on vinyl lovers, which is apparently some russian label. they have a lot of stuff. i'm not sure if it's a boot or what, tho.
iamafreeman
they're definitely a label of shady origins. but they've been around for a while and have done "audiophile" reissues of The Cure, The Jam, and The Who.
burntwolf
this has 9 songs and 'in heaven' is one of them. it is also 180g. i guess mine is 'orange,' was hoping for purple. it isn't very orange. it's translucent yellow but thick vinyl. kinda looks like the AM new wave yellow. i will post a pic tomorrow.
