popquizkid Posted June 15, 2010 Share Posted June 15, 2010 It's definitely different, but I honestly think five years from now everyone is going to look back on "White Crosses" and realize how brilliant it is in the same way that they will recognize the greatness in Thursday post-War All The Time, which no one seems to appreciate yet. I personnaly think it's far from American Slang. I'd agree with popquizkid. I personally probably prefer White Crosses to American Slang (I'm fairly impartial to both, though). I just got around to listening to mine today too and I'd say it sounds alot better. I also noticed that the last half of this album is where it really shines.
