Historical figures you're (tenuously) related to

Recommended Posts

A couple years ago I did the ancestry two-week trial and found some awesome shit!

After you get so far, you can click on something like "famous relatives" and it tells you how and who you're related

I'm related to:

William Randolph Hearst

Truman Capote

Daniel Cresap (my 9th great-grandfather...Cresaptown (Maryland) was named after him)

and a shit ton of other writers, movie dudes, athletes, and actors/actresses (my immediate family is nothing but photographers, writers, painters, and athletes)

My grandfather was drafted out of Maryland by the Packers in '55 and became a kicker since Bart Starr was the main quarterback, but then he fucked up his ACL and had many-a-baby

My half-uncle, Greg Hare (QB Captain for Ohio State in '73 -- one of the kids my grandfather had that my grandmother did not know about) was drafted by the Bills in '74 I think.

If my mom did not leave Mark Davison to marry my dad, then my dad (Mark) would be one of the camera men for the new show with Ray Romano. He was filming Two and a Half Men before this show. Pretty awesome. Thankfully my aunt is best friends with Mark's sister, so I always have that connection if I want to go "hang out in Cali" which is what he told me on the phone a year ago.
