nick6ten
Topshelf has a new color of this in their webstore. Picked one up at WMC Fest this weekend, its a dark red/maroon color. Looks rad, not sure how many were pressed. http://topshelfrecords.bigcartel.com/product/grown-ups-more-songs-lp

icecream
buy my first press brown for $10 ppd ! pm me
mmhmm
Brown was not from the first press- it's a part of the second press, I believe. Clear gold, coke bottle clear, off white and black comprise the first press.
evvandflow
Pretty sure the brown with splatter was first press, 2nd press was just the tan color.
birdwell
did the first press only have Coke Bottle or was there a Clear press?....I can't physically get to my records currently to check whether I have Clear or Coke-Bottle Clear
mmhmm
Those four colors I listed were the only ones available when the record was first released (totaling 500, 200 black, 100 for each of the other three colors), they then pressed the brown with splatter press due to the first four colors selling out, then added the tan one as the final press. So depending on how you view a "pressing," those first four colors would, to me, make up the "first press." The brown would be a second press, and the tan would be the third pressing. evvandflow
Well it turns out this 'burnt sienna' is the final press. According to topshelf brown was released in Europe...so Euro 1st Press? haha i have no idea
mmhmm
Yeah, that could be the case. Not arguing with your or anything, just recalling what I remember

hankmurphy
Brown was not from the first press- it's a part of the second press, I believe. Clear gold, coke bottle clear, off white and black comprise the first press. Brown with tan/white splatter from BSM is the first press. It even says so right in the very first post. We've launched the pre orders for the re-release of Grown Ups More Songs on CD and LP which is due out on November 9th. Big Scary Monsters originally released the album earlier this year and we've taken over this album in the states. Repressed on 4 different colorways and in brand new packaging for the CD.
