salparadise
does anyone collect these or know places that will buy them? I don't think I have anything super exceptional(that i know of), at least that I'd be willing to part with, just boxes and books full that I don't need and want money for. just full boxes i bought at card shows, as well as some other memorabilia that is just taking up space. any leads? any takers? ill sell bulk for cheap + shipping. kurtz
The card market is definately not what it used to be. I sold all my cards on ebay about 2 years ago, and alot of the selling prices were pretty disappointing.
counterfiction
i've got about 100,000 cards in my parents basement. that is where they will stay for the next 30 years or so.
boizee
I have a John Elway rookie card. That's about all I need anymore. Used to have about as many as counterfiction, but donated a shitload of them to a charity a few years ago.
kurtz
Starting Lineups have become completely worthless unless you have the extremely rare ones. I know a guy who owned a comic/card shop and he had tons of starting lineups that he just could not get rid of, in the store or online. andrew13
cards are about worthless anymore unless it's the hot rookie's auto. it's retarded. i loathe football, and haven't collected it in about 10 yrs, but for example a reggie bush auto rookie last year would sell for a lot more than a peyton manning auto rookie would. the one is one of the best qb's of all time, and the other is a overrated rb. made no sense. i stick to mostly hockey, and have about 300 auto and jersey cards. other than a few big time rookies, they're mostly worthless too. Ryan Whitney has a real shot at being the next Paul Coffey, yet his cards can be had on ebay for $5-10 while ovie and geno go for $1000's
mediocore
I have a shitload in boxes in my garage. I have a smaller box full of things I think *could* have some value, but as was mentioned, the market ain't what it used to be...
kirbypuckett
I have so many hockey cards from back in the day. All useless right now.
eroc
I have been collecting cards my since I was about three. Unfortunately all that stuff from the late 80s and 90s was so overproduced that it usually has no value. Because of that, I pretty much only collect autographs and vintage stuff from the 50s and 60s. sal if you hit me up with a pm about what kind of stuff you have i might be able to help you get rid of it. flood
you pretty much have to have it officially appraised and sealed in those fucking cases now for it to be worth anything... and yeah anything 80's and 90's is worthless.
adammuzzy
i have a patrick roy / roberto luongo card with both of their autographs and game used jerseys, #7/10.

ronniethebear
My parents used to own a card/comic shop, and I've still got TONS of them from way back. I doubt I'll ever be able to get a decent amount for them though, since the market totally tanked about 10 years ago. p.s. I've got the Topps Lemieux rookie card.
