steventangent
lipstick tube for the bridge and p90 in the neck. nobody will make fun of you for this.
birdwell
depends on what sound you want out of your tele....I think the Seymour Duncan Antiquity stuff sounds really nice, but I'm sure there's some cheaper decent sounding pups out there
papermonsters
Chevy's are built like a rock, but Ford's, well they're built Ford Tough.
mygreatdevastator
What sound are you going for man? I actually have a pearly gates pickup lying around, which sound great with Teles, that I'd be willing to sell. But again, it depends on what you want to sound like. robotnerd
seymour duncan alnico 2 pro's. they're the best tele pickups i've ever heard.
punkrudeboy
Don't waste you money on Fender, Duncan, EMG, or any of that other masproduced crap. This guy Brian will hand wire you a sweet ass set of pups at a great price. I had a strat size P90 for my bridge and 2 60's spec single coils for my neck and middle for around $130. The tech that did my install was impressede as well and ended up ordering a set. If your not quite sure what you want, send him in email descriing the sound your looking for along with the details of what your building, what wood etc and he"ll point you in the right direction. http://www.norcalguitars.com/

kittenmittons
so along with your copy of American Football on vinyl, exactly how many pairs of panties do you expect to drop when you reveal you MADE the fucking guitar you're ripping on? my estimate is 14. #greatjob! Guest errolwest
ive got a fender combo amp with really strong highs, so something to compliment/balance that would be ideal.
birdwell
seymour duncan alnico 2 pro's. they're the best tele pickups i've ever heard. I like the antiquities better, but I'd much rather have a hand-wound for cheaper, especially if it sounds just as good or better
dinkle82
Lipstick in the neck for sure! They're smooth like butter. and stay away from emg's or seymours in the bridge.
