drabley
Leonard Cohen, like Tom Waits, is good in small doses. Anything more than a handful of consecutive tracks and it gets a bit dull.

Waits has a much more varied catalog...so I can listen to him for hours and hours and it's always a revolving level of mad genius.
djones0930
Cohen's definitely great to listen to, but I fucking love Gregory Alan Isakov's cover of "One of Us Cannot Be Wrong"....Also, when I saw Isakov back in March/April, he covered Cohen's "Chelsea Hotel No. 2" which was amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBjeaz6qyt4&hl=en&fs=1 ...and if you like/will like Isakov, the song "That Sea, The Gambler" is probably one of my favorite songs in the world. lokithelion
Yes yes yes. Got a promo DVD of Bird on a Wire the other day, felt as giddy as when I a girl said she'd go to prom with me.

Especially with Tom's stuff from the 70s. And his stories never, ever get old. I like Cohen, but I could easily tire of him after about 20-30 minutes of playing.
