This LP came out a couple years ago (and is great by the way!) but has been sitting around for a while.  They have just released their second 7" on It's Alive records this week, so we have decided to  make this cheap to move some of these out of the way.  You can get this on orange or black vinyl for 4.75 for a one sided LP.  You can get a free copy with a purchase of 25 dollars or more (must include an LP already) while they last.

You can stream it here:  http://malldtodeath.bandcamp.com/

and stream their first 7" on It's Alive here:  http://www.punknews.org/bands/malldtodeath

The Mall'd to Death- Can't Make a Living LP is done and ready to head out the door into your arms. This is a great record. It just made National Undergrounds MUST HAVE RECORDS list (http://www.nationalunderground.org/news/must-have-albums). And it has rarely been out of rotation in my car.

This is short fast Minneapolis pop punk that gets right to the point with folks from Off With Their Heads, TERRORDACTYLS, and High Hopes. This is going to be a ONE-SIDED 12" with the 10 album songs and 7 BONUS songs from their session for Out of Step on Radio K.

RAZORCAKE REVIEW:

MALL’D TO DEATH-Can’t Make a Living:

This is one of those instances where I hope that reviews actually do help sell records, because Can’t Make a Living is great and it’d be a total shame if it slipped under the radar. Take the playfulness of The Invalids and the simple melodies of early Off With Their Heads and you’re on the right track. Ten songs of way-simple punk stuff with just a smidge of ska here and there, a vocalist who couldn’t sing his way out of a paper bag, topical lyrics (war profiteering, illegal downloading, even an homage to J Church! Yes!), and a crashing, resounding sense of fun threaded throughout. One of those bands that defy description to me—they’re just punk, you know? Super awesome and totally worth your time. –Keith Rosson

Yeah. I just randomly picked it up as well. I had heard one song on the Protect 2 comp and had liked it. I'm really excited about the release but I realize that not many people have heard the record. So I'm trying to direct people to that stream at Amp because I think a lot of people will really like this once they hear it. It hasn't left my rotation in my car since I got it.

There are some album and non-album songs on the Radio K session that is going to be on the vinyl too. It sounds great and is a nice bonus for the vinyl release.

i'm sure if it's from Minneapolis, it's gonna be good. :) i'll check it when it's done. and i love everything associated with Radio K and when their recordings get onto official releases.

Great! What other Radio K sessions are on official releases?

woah. never saw this, sorry.

well, they do their own Stuck On AM series. i can't honestly think of any of them offhand but i know a few smaller bands have actually used their Radio K recordings for an actual release. they've mentioned them on-air but i'm drawing a blank.

ordered a blue!

Thanks for the orders so far. I will get them out today and tomorrow. I will also try to post some pictures tonight. I was putting records with sleeves all night and didn't have time. The band will have most of the blue...I have just a few. Their record release show is in MPLS on the 14th for any of you in the area.
